I've always enjoyed making cards, so I don't know why I haven't posted any of the ones I have made.  Last night I had to baby-sit my two youngest siblings, so I made some cards.  Here they are: (please comment on which one you like best)

This isn't a card it is a petal envelope that I made.

Freaky and Creepy

This is a video of some 5-6 year-old kids from North Korea playing the guitar.  They are just so talented it is almost freaky!  Here is the link if it doesn't work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=yE7waNi5dc0

OK, here is the creepy part.  Apparently there is been an E-mail that has been going around saying that deep sea creatures washed up on the shore during the tsunami in Japan.  Well, it turns out that the e-mail was a hoax, because those fish didn't wash up during the tsunami. They actually were found on a scientific expedition, but we know the fish are real.  So I am going to post them anyway because they are CREEPY looking.

The Wig and The Dog.

When I went into my closet last night to get my PJs, I was greeted by the sight I my sisters favorite stuffed animal dog with a wig and flower c lip on it's head.

This is a close up of the clip.  It is the clip that Rebekah bought in California and gave to her, she told me that it is her favorite thing and that's why she put it in her dogs hair, to make it look beautiful.  She also helped herself to all of my perfume, to make it smell nice.

Boy Flip-ops!!!

No, I did not misspell the title, that was just my brother exclaimed when my mom brought him home flip-flops  from the store today.  He pronounces flip-flop like flip-op or fib-op.  He is adopted from Russia (he is two), we brought him home this fall.  He is adjusting wonderfully!  Anyway he and my little six-year-old sister (who is very tiny) have the same size feet, so when I took him outside he put on my little sisters flip-flops.  Well, he loved her flip-flops but she wears them when she goes outside, so he got upset because he couldn't wear them, because she was.  The flip-flops were red with a princess, and my mom said "don't wear those, those are girl flip-flops".  So when my mom went to the store she came back with green camo flip-ops!!  She told him  these are boy flip-flops.  He started shouting and running around the house saying "YAY! BOy flip-ops yay! Boy Flip-ops!"  hehe I love him....

Oh, my dad and  my older sister (who where in California) got back yesterday morning at 2:30.  During the time that they were gone I really grew closer to my sister Catherine.  She is such a sweet young lady.  She is ten and turning eleven and really maturing spiritually from a girl to young women.  I am so proud of her.  Cat (her nickname) and Rebekah, my older sister, have similar personalities so their bond is closer then it is with other sisters.  But when Rebekah left we really had a chance to bond more...

guess what I just did...

Guess what I just did?  I just dug a puppy out from under our porch!  The puppies were yapping (that's nothing unusual), but mom said I should go check on them just in case.  Well, I am glad I did because one little puppy had its head stuck in the wooden spindles.  I dug a hole in the freezing cold clay and mud for the puppy before I realized there was a a big hole that the puppy could get through.  Well, I got the puppy's head unstuck then I had to coax the puppy over to the hole.  Finally he was close enough to grab.  I was desperate to get him out of  there so I had to pull on his poor front paws so the I could pull him closer to me.  he was finally close enough to scruff, I then dragged him out of the hole and he was free.  I then covered up the  hole with  a rock, so I wouldn't have to do it again!

Recipe

As a lot of you know I really like to cook and bake.  Here is my first recipe that I created a couple weeks ago.
Berry Crumble (I can't really think of anything else so If you have an idea for the name please comment)
I don't have the exact measurements for the recipe (because when I was making it I didn't write down the measurements), but I will make it tomorrow and post the measurements.  So the measurements are just estimates right now.
You will need:
Crumble:
 5 graham crackers
2 TBSP of butter
dash of cinnamon (or more)
(optional) very very tiny bit of vanilla

Filling: (the filling is a smoothie.)  Really any combination of fruit and yogurt will suffice.
Frozen fruit and/or
frozen or fresh strawberries
frozen or fresh raspberries
frozen or fresh blueberries
banana
yogurt
sugar or honey (if you have a sweet tooth use sugar)

Put graham crackers in a zip-lock bag, and seal it tight.  Next crush the crackers with your fist, rolling pin, or any other device you choose.  Melt butter in the microwave by putting it in a bowl with a plate over the top (this will keep it from splattering).  Pour crushed crackers, cinnamon, and vanilla into the butter and mix.  put fruit and yogurt into blender and blend.  Meanwhile put the cracker mixture into the bottom of a small bowl going up the sides, next, put a layer of the smoothie in. continue layering until you reach the top.  garnish with a quarter if a cracker on the top. Dig in with a spoon and enjoy!

I've been very busy....

Things have been crazy around here.  On the positive side it is going to be warm today (at least where I live).  Yay! I love warm weather.  Okay I know I have some catching up to do with posting so lets rewind to Easter.  For Easter Sunday we went to our best friends house, with grandma (my dad's mom).  I had so much FUN!  After an delicious early dinner (or late lunch whatever you want to call it.) we (we being Me, my sister, and the two other kids our age.) went outside.  We played hide-and-seek tag, I won  both times.  The first time I hid under a car in their barn.  The second time I hid in like fifteen different places, so I won't name them all.  After that we went inside to play spoons (so fun I love that game .)  We went home at 7:00, and just sat around talking and laughing until it was time to go to bed. Ok, zooming ahead to this week, my older sister is in California until Sunday, so guess who has to take care of all her animals?  That's right me. It has really been fun getting the opportunity to take care of them, but I can't wait for her to get home (I miss her ALOT!)  In other news Our cat had two kittens, we found them in our shed.  they look about a week old, and the poor things have an awful eye infection.  We wipe our eyes about three times a day, one of the kittens only had it in one eye and it is getting a little better day by day.  The other kitten has it in both eye, so when we go out in the morning to clean it's eye they are swollen shut, or glued together with puss (uge so nasty, but I feel bad for the poor kitten. I can't post any pictures because my big sis took the camera with her.

Until then,
                God Bless!!!
