Life

This week I've just been doing life.  School and chores as normal, nothing really has happened.  Last Thursday I realized that every Thursday we pick up a animal.  Two Thursdays ago we picked up the goat Galaxy, and this Thursday we picked up baby chicks.  Next Thursday we pick up more chicks (the kind that lay blue and green eggs). I will try to post pictures tonight!

1st year: the five senses
2nd year: dog
3rd: miniature horse
4th: miniature horse
5th: dog, and cooking
6th: dog
7th: dog, cooking, and vet science.

Here is a picture of the goat being bottle fed.

Breakfast Parfait

Here is a neat idea for a quick, but yummy breakfast.  The best part is that you only need three ingredients.

1. Pick out a cereal.

2. Then a fruit.

3. And Yogurt.

Then layer them in a glass, alternating the cereal, fruit, and yogurt
Enjoy!

The Goat!

Sorry I did not post sooner, I was REALLY busy today.  Not much happened today except school, school, and a 4-H meeting.  One  important thing did happen today though, my older sister brought home her goat!  His name is Galaxy (Alax for short) and he is three weeks old, and he still needs to be bottle feed.  He is sooooo Cute!!  Here is a picture of him:

he has hay on his nose, I didn't take it of though because it kind of adds to his cuteness.

CEF!?

I have been praying about this summer, and asking God that he would use me somehow.  Well, now I am looking into being a junior missionary this summer with CEF (child evangelism fellowship).  A junior missionary would assist in doing the five day clubs with a Senior missionary.  That however is the problem.  in order to do the training I have to have a Senior missionary to do it with and to do the five day clubs with.  Right now I am just praying that I will be able to find a partner. I'll post more later.

I am blessed!

I was looking around me today and realized how blessed I am!  I gave my new brother a bubble bath today, he is soooo cute!  For 8 years I prayed for a brother, finally last year God gave him to me!  He is living proof that God answers prayer, sometimes he just says to wait.  I am also blessed with three wonderful sisters.  I also happened to be the daughter of the best parents in the WORLD!  I am blessed with a warm home, and clothes.  Realizing how blessed I was today made me think of all the other people in the who didn't have the things I had, so I stopped and prayed for them.

In other news...  Sometime this week my older sister and I will be picking up her two new goats!  They are both males and they are Nigerian Drawfs.  Tommorrow I will try to post pictures! :)

God Bless!!!

About This Blog

As you can see from my profile page I am a teenage girl that enjoys a variety of activities.  I have a dog blog and photography blog (check 'em out!), so this blog is for crafts, recipes or just my life.  I am also a christian and I have a passion for missions.

5 years ago we had a garden (we being my family) and I loved it.  I am so happy because my mom got home from he store and announced that we are going to have a garden again! This year we are planting: Mammoth Russian Sunflowers, Tomatoes, California Wonder Peppers, Sugar Baby Watermelon, Sweet Corn (yum!), Hearts of Gold Cantaloupe, Summer Squash, Cucumbers, Carrots (I am not to thrilled about that though), and Brussels Sprouts!  Yummy! I am so looking forward to all those yummy vegetables.

I like to cook and bake, so along with the families Garden I would like to plant some herbs. I think I am going to plant, mint, parsley, cilantro, and maybe a few others.

God Bless!
